Medicare Supplement Plan N is ideal for those who prefer lower monthly premiums but still wish to have comprehensive coverage.
 
The most significant benefits of Medicare Supplement Plan N include Medicare Part A coinsurance coverage, Medicare Part A deductible coverage, foreign travel emergency benefits, and Medicare Part B coinsurance coverage
 
When you enroll in Medicare Supplement Plan N, the only out-of-pockets you are responsible for are, Medicare Supplement Plan N premium, Medicare Part B premium, Medicare Part B coinsurance, $20-$50 copayments, and Excess Charges (if applicable)
 
If you enroll in Medicare Supplement Plan N during your six-month Medicare Supplement Open Enrollment Period, you do not need to answer underwriting health questions. If you apply for coverage outside of this enrollment period, you may be subject to medical underwriting. This means a carrier may deny you coverage for any reason.

Researching Medicare Supplement plans on your own can be very challenging as there are many options available. In today's video we'll be discussing Medicare Supplement Plan N and the benefits it has to offer. Hi Medicare Community. I'm Ashley's Zareczny, your Medicare expert with Elite Insurance Partners and MedicareFAQ.com. Medicare Supplement Plan N is one of the most popular plans amongst beneficiaries. It is ideal for those who prefer lower monthly premiums, but not wanting to forfeit major benefits, Similar to Medicare Supplement Plan G, Plan N offers major cost-sharing benefits to policyholders. These benefits include Medicare Part A coinsurance, Medicare Part A deductible, foreign travel emergency care, and the Medicare Part B 20% coinsurance. The only responsibility to you the beneficiary would be the Medicare Supplement Plan N monthly premium, the one-time annual Part B deductible, $20 co-payments for doctor office visits, $50 co-payments for emergency room visits, if not admitted, and if you live in a state that allows excess charges, you may be responsible for those as well. However, most doctors accept Medicare assignment. So excess charges are rare. You can enroll into Plan N with no underwriting health questions during your one-time Medicare Supplement Open Enrollment period. This period last up to six months following your 65th birthday. If you are outside your Medicare Supplement Open Enrollment period, you can still enroll in a Medicare supplement at any time. You will just be subject to underwriting. Underwriting means that any carrier could deny your application based on your current healthcare status. Your health care is important to us.
